Alpha Industries created these jackets for cold weather use for US military police, shore patrols and police forces across North America. Recently, MP-TEX® has been converted to civilian peacetime use. This unique fabric, developed from Dupont’s super smooth nylon/rayon Antron® has a breaking point of 250 pounds, is wind and water resistant, impervious to stains, tear proof and virtually indestructible.
